Home is Where Her Heart Is
Today's Blogger of Note is Mama K
Mama K is amazing. Anyone who likes to cook and garden has our utmost respect. Plus, she likes to write, we like to read. A perfect match!
Happy reading,
Sandy & Pam

Don't cook, and I am known for killing plants.... not good with plants at all. Must be my bitchy lethal personality.
ReplyDeleteBut I will check her out!
Oh, I'm liking Mama K already! Just went over and read her post...we have a couple of quirks in common, so she's my kind of lady.
ReplyDeleteYou know, one thing I'm REALLY liking about WOW is the fact I can come here and click on the links of everyone. I know as I go along it'll keep things simpler. I am abysmal about going to my Google reader...takes too much time and just the words don't do anything for me. Half the fun of visiting blogs is seeing the website...I do believe they reflect the true personality of the person BEHIND the words. Here, I can click and I'm there. I am just a lazy techie dinosaur...what can I say?! Happy Friday, Sandy and Pam!
Forgive me for bringing it up, but where are the men in this WOW deal? Aren't guys welcome, or is it that they're just not as interested in blogs with CONTENT?
ReplyDeleteWell, if necessary, I'll represent the male gender. :-)
Berowne, Pam and I were just asking ourselves the same question!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely men are welcome here, and we hope that more will begin to find us and "Join the Conversation."
Feel free to spread the "Words of Wisdom" around to your friends, men and women. The more the merrier!
LOL @ Berowne and WTG for joining the ranks!
ReplyDeleteIt's my first visit here, and I just signed up to be a follower of WOW. I'd been reading a bit on some friends' blogs and was inspired to join.
Here's to lasting relationships! Cheers!
She is great and that is one old cat! Hello everyone happy Friday! Hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love gardening just so long as I'm growing something I can cook with ;) Also, so long as the deer don't eat it first!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the feature! And yes, we need more men in this group!
ReplyDeleteI respect anyone who likes to cook, because i hate it, and plants and I don't exactly get along. Good thing my husband cooks, and plants seem to like him!
ReplyDeleteGreat BON today!
Oh and I love her doggie pepper! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteI'm a day late and a dollar short. Don't ask.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Peace and serenity,
~Jo

ReplyDeleteI came here to thank you for stopping by my little Italian kitchen and for leaving your comment, but now I find it hard to leave. I'm wandering these rooms eager to learn more about this wonderful site and quaffing the content proffered by the worthy bloggers you kindly spotlight.
Ciao!

Hooray for having some testosterone around here! And hooray for Mama K and her BON day! I'm working on having a green thumb - I'll have to let you know if I get any tomato sprouts in the next couple weeks! :-)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to check out Mama K!!! Gardening AND cooking?!?!? Love that!!! I became garden-obsessed last year and absolutely can't wait to get my hands in the dirt this year!!!k

ReplyDeleteKathy over at Everyday Bliss
just wanted to let you all know you are doing a wonderful job - I have been visiting from afar as I have a lot of "life" going on right now, but I have been visiting and I hope you keep it up.
ReplyDeleteShe is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI had a great time reading MamaK's blog. It's always fun to find new blogs to read ;)
ReplyDeleteDropping by to show some love. Checking out Mama K's blog .. her experience with Deepak Chopra had me cracking up !
ReplyDeleteDarn, OK, somehow this stuff is not coming into my reader. I am really bad already. But not on purpose. I will read hers now, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Mama K regular -- glad you featured her! And I'm delighted to make my first visit to WOW. What a great idea!
