Lisa is a young grandmother who laments that her first grandbaby, Bubby, lives 819 miles away. She says she uses her blog to cope with being a long-distance grandma. Not afraid of challenges, she just started playing piano at 43. A former newspaper writer, she says she’s still exercising her writing muscles with her blog.

my grandson is 8 years old. and as nice as it is to have him close, its really sad that his Dad, my son, is not here...

ReplyDeleteI love the photo at the top of her blog! While not a grandmother (or mother!) I can sympathize with her heartache about being far away from her grandson. We've all been far away from someone we've loved -- haven't we?
